Kathy -- Escondido, CA The original Max Comfort® memory foam dog beds provide unequaled comfort for orthopedic conditions such as hip or elbow Dysplasia and canine arthritis. Our BioMedic™ memory foam is MADE IN THE U.S.A. and much higher quality than imported memory foam dog beds. When we invented these beds we knew there would be copies coming in from overseas. Beware of imitations! Inexpensive imported foams commonly contain fillers that weaken the comfort and performance of the bed and can be a health hazard to your dogs. They often contain flame retardants that are toxic to your dog. Some companies operate in countries without oversight and their only mission is sending beds to America at the cheapest possible price with no concern for quality or your dogs health. Some even use freon as the blowing agent for making the foam. This releases thousands of pounds of harmful freon gas into the air daily. Our AMERICAN MADE BioMedic™ memory foam contains no fillers or flame retardants and the blowing agent is water. The top line quality of our materials results in our dog beds providing more comfort and durability than any other memory foam dog bed, anywhere, guaranteed. 4" thick dog beds have 2" BioMedic™ memory foam & 2" of support foam for dogs to 100 pounds. Note - If your dog is 100 lbs or less the 4" bed will provide 100% the same comfort and durability as the 6" beds. 6" thick dog beds have 3" BioMedic™ memory foam & 3" of support foam for dogs over 100 pounds. 8" thick dog beds have 3" BioMedic™ memory foam & 5" of support foam for dogs way over 100 pounds. 13" thick dog beds have 3" BioMedic™ memory foam & 10" of support foam if you would like your dog higher off the floor. 15" thick dog beds have 3" BioMedic™ memory foam & 12" of support foam if you would like your dog higher off the floor. Note - The 6" bed will provide 100% the same comfort and durability as the thicker beds. We can make any custom size or thickness dog bed you would like. 
All of our orthopedic dog beds have zippered, removable, covers included. For your convenience we use extra
long heavy duty zippers. They are full length along the long side of the bed plus over half way up both short sides.

This is important information and your dog will thank you! Originally developed by NASA for the space program, memory foam is the most comfortable sleep surface ever invented. The Max Comfort® BioMedic memory foam orthopedic dog bed contours perfectly to your pet. It forms to your dog's exact shape providing even support and unparralelled comfort. Unlike other dog bed materials BioMedic memory foam dispurses compression points that aggravate orthopedic conditions. It actually absorbs pressure instead of reflecting it back to your dog. These are perfect for older or challenged dogs, and any dog of any age appreciates the incredible comfort. Other dog bed materials compress and compact at the points where the most weight is applied. The harder you press on these beds the more counter pressure or resistance is built up. These pressure points are why people and pets toss and turn at night to try to get away from the pressure build up and discomfort it causes. The obvious problem is that even with turning over the pressure points soon develop again. This is also why you, or your pet, wake up sore and unrested. Microfiber Faux Suede Fabric Choices Our microfiber faux suedes are ultra soft, very durable, high tech fabrics. This water resistant (see waterproof Crypton® dog beds below) fabric is low maintenance, odor resistant and breathable. If your dog comes in wet from the rain, or slobbers, that's not enough moisture to go through to the foam. If you need waterproof please see our fabric choices below. This microfiber fabric has great color depth and withstands hundreds of machine washings. This is a very comfortable dog bed fabric.

Group 2 fabric 
WATERPROOF and durable, these waterproof fabrics are exceptionally sturdy, yet afford a level of comfort worthy of Max Comfort® world's most comfortable dog beds. Offered for all our luxury pet beds, sofa beds, day beds and BioMedic™ dog beds, this fabric performs fabulously with waterproof assurance. Offered in black, brown, red, tan, MDM (puppy faces) faux suede and rotator and blissful blue twill woven. This eco-friendly fabric is stain, moisture, odor and bacteria resistant. This is one of our "group 2" fabrics.

Waterproof Soft Faux Leathers A Group 2 fabric Waterproof and very durable, these soft faux leathers are exceptionally sturdy, yet are extremely soft and pliable, providing comfort worthy of Max Comfort® world's most comfortable dog beds. It has the look and feel of fine Italian calfskin leather. It's soft, like glove leather. This is not a vinyl and is made from polyurethane. It's half as thick as our regular faux leather and 10 times stronger. It will never crack and is very puncture resistant. This covering dissipates heat, so it stays much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It wipes clean with water. Soap and bleach won't damage it if needed. Offered for all our dog beds, this fabric performs fabulously with waterproof assurance. Offered in blue, green, midnight, kona brown, musk brown, deep red and ruby red. The blazing hot pink does not have the leather like grain. More colors are coming soon and are available by special order. This is one of our "group 2" fabrics.

Our denim is pre-washed, comfortable, durable and 100% cotton. It's basically like a new pair of blue jeans that have been washed a few times. Our faux lambskin is very dense. Two to three times denser than "sherpa dog beds". It holds up much better to laundering and is much softer.
